MELANIE GILL, Bsc, MSC/PG.DiP
Melanie Gill is an attachment expert, specialist psychologist and forensic consultant. She has over 15 years’ experience working as an expert witness assessing very complex cases involving parental alienation. She has a broad range of training taking in attachment and forensic assessment which yields very detailed and nuanced analyses of all family members. She has been a very vocal campaigner on PA for years. Over the last two years she has been targeted by women’s groups, radical feminists, and a group of psychologists who have aligned with PA deniers and domestic violence campaigners. She has been accused of being a charlatan, fraud, and a danger to the public so must be doing something right. In the last month, the accusations came to a head in the High Court in England in a landmark case in which PA was described as pseudo-science. She and PA were exonerated. Not in the eyes of the media though so misinformation still abounds.

MARK BAUMAN, ATTORNEY AT LAW P. S.
Melanie Gill BSc., MSc./Dip. and Mark Baumann J.D. offer services as part of a team to help people approaching divorce and separation to keep their case out of court or minimize the risk of cases becoming harmful to families and children. If cases are already in court and conflict has been going on, they offer services to help reduce the conflict and harm. They share the experience of knowing that judges in legal systems are not always trained in effective techniques to steer cases to healthy outcomes.
Melanie Gill is a UK-based attachment specialist, psychologist, and forensic consultant. She uses evidenced based assessments with a focus on attachment science. She is a specialist psychologist and has worked exclusively as an expert witness for over 16 years working on very complex cases particularly where Parental Alienation is alleged. There are few psychologists or psychiatrists trained in the range of assessment methods that she uses, meaning ‘no stone is left unturned’ in getting to what’s really going on and how children may be affected by the conflict.
Mark Baumann is a US based lawyer and mediator. He has worked on complex cases for 25 years. Mark is unique in his field of practice. Mark was an associate of Bill Eddy, and has trained in attachment science and neurobiology. Mark provides training to legal professionals through his Conflict Science Institute (https://www.conflictscienceinstitute.com/). He applies his training and experience to help guide clients through the difficult dynamics which characterize family law cases.
Mark and Melanie can be part of the team to help parents children and families in difficult cases. At the heart of their unique approach is the need to understand individual family members and the whole family dynamic through the application of attachment science in getting to the truth and illuminating the ‘back story’ to conflict. Their work places an emphasis on understanding the often-complex history behind an existing family dynamic.
They are now setting up a new consultancey to provide specialist assessments and legal support for.
The goal is always to move to solutions which protect children and stabilize families where this is possible. An initial screening meeting will enable us to formulate a realistic and focussed plan for your psycho-legal needs:

- People not yet in court.
- People on the verge of going to court
- People who have been in a fight for a long time by ‘unsticking’ ‘stuck’ cases.
- False Allegations which can hang around these cases for years because the issues are not being dealt with. When an understanding of the motivating factors behind an accusing parent are understood at least there is an opportunity for nuanced and appropriate interventions to be recommended.
