Estrangement carries a kind of grief that is often unseen, unnamed, and deeply misunderstood. In this conversation, we will gently explore the experience of ambiguous loss—the reality of loving someone who is still here, yet no longer part of your daily life. Together, we’ll make space for the complexity of this kind of grief, honor the love that remains, and consider how to live and move forward while still holding what feels unresolved.

This is a zoom meeting zoom meeting and you must register to attend @ familyaccessinnc@aol.com no later than Saturday, July 11, 2026.
This talk explores the often-overlooked psychological impact of parental alienation on the targeted parent, through the lens of narcissistic abuse. Listeners will gain insight into trauma responses such as cognitive dissonance, trauma bonding, and nervous system dysregulation, and will be introduced to the concept of the Post-Narcissistic Reality Hangover, the destabilizing phase that occurs after recognizing the truth but before emotional recovery has taken hold.

Parental Alienation Support Systems (PASS Program). Zoom meetings are on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. EST and run every week at that time. (New meetings will be added in various time zones as needed.) While led by the Foundation, these meetings are meant to provide a space for those in the alienated community to speak up and have their voices heard. They are based on the philosophy that we are stronger together. The meetings will be run similarly to a 12-step meeting. The PASS Program consists of something I call the GRACE model: Groups Recovery (Cultivating/providing a list of resources: mental health providers, attorneys specializing in PA, etc.)Awareness (Using the voice of the CPTSD Foundation to enhance the exposure of parental alienation and its modalities)Changing the System (Strategies to add Parental Alienation (or equivalent) to the DSM-5)Educating the Experts (Attorneys, court officials, physicians, pediatricians, GALs, caseworkers)Participants can register here: https://cptsdfoundation.org/parental-alienation/
